Years ago, at 318 lbs with neuropathy developing in my toes, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Instead of accepting a lifetime of medication, I went deep into ancestral nutrition, strength training, and rebuilding my daily habits from the ground up. I reversed it. Lost over 80 lbs. No medication dependency.
Then — while I was winning that battle — came something far more serious. Stage 4 stomach cancer. Doctors gave me less than a year. I said no to surgery and chemotherapy and trusted the same principles that had already transformed my health. Six months later the tumor had reduced significantly. I fully restored my health.
As a former corporate executive chef of 20 years, I understand food at a level most trainers don't.
